This online course will provide you with a practical approach to understanding the mechanics of contemporary harmony and our double bass course with our department head and Larry Coryell's favorite double bassist, Joe Porter. You can take your time to learn at your pace. Your studies will include scales, chords, chord progressions, melodic studies, and music analysis; all at a level within your comprehension. Your musical life will change as you begin to understand what harmony is, how to apply this knowledge to your instrument and how necessary it is to your growth as a bassist.
